Hawai'i Island Illustrated Watercolor Map Giclee Art Print
This illustrated watercolor map is a high quality giclee print on cotton watercolor paper.
The map features prominent landmarks around Hawai’i island including the rough waters of the 'Alenuihāhā channel, a humpback whale breaching out of Kīholo Bay, and a marlin just off of Kona’s coastline. The coral reef features creatures found throughout the coastline and is placed purposely around Kealakekua Bay. The fisherman and coffee/macnut farms are positioned off of Miloli’i. On the south end of the island you can see South Point’s signature cliff and ladder, Papakōlea, or green sands beach, and Kīlauea erupting surrounded by lush Volcano rainforests. Making your way up the East side features the lush palms of Puna, Hilo bay and sailing, botanical gardens and waterfalls, and an ‘Iwa, or great frigate, bird soaring above it all. This map encompasses many of the places and features that are close to my heart.
